After a late night, we forgot about breakfast this morning too and had a nice lie in before making our way to Chakuchak Market for some cheap shopping. It’s massive and you could probably spend about 2 days there just in the clothes section alone – and spend all your money! I bought 5 shirts (2 were a mistake, in hindsight, but what the hell; they were only 100 Baht - 10 MYR - £2 each).I spy food stalls selling deep fried creepy crawlies – roaches, spiders, silk worms, baby pigeon (!) and other ‘tasty’ treats that we agree to try after lunch, perhaps.
Funnily enough, we all conveniently forget about this desert treat and after lunch we move back to town, without passing by these stalls…
