Cos This Is Thriller!

We eventually get to Ayutthaya, having been subjected to most of Michael Jackson's back catalogue, and it is vast – a mixture of old temples in amongst new town, spread over several square miles. Mr 'Thriller' Dang escorts us to most of the places we wanted to see (having gone through his postcard brochure). We started at Wat Yai Chai-monghal with a huge reclining Buddha, then moved to Wat Mahathat, after lunch. This one has the Buddha in the tree, which is slightly odd.

We wanted to see this particular Wat made out of what looked like white marble, as it looked amazing in the postcard brochure, but Mr 'Billie Jean' Dang had a different idea and took us to Wat Lokayasutharam instead – probably because he had friends selling stuff there.

We spend pretty much the whole day in Ayutthaya, and watched the sun go down over the last one, Wat Chaiwatthanaram, which was probably the most spectacular. Having taken photos of every angle we then started pissing about doing photo shoots of each other in various ridiculous poses.

Mr 'Don't Stop Till You Get Enough' Dang drops us off home and we relax for a little bit before heading out for a nice meal in a place that we saw as Mr 'Smooth Criminal' Dang dropped us off, called Anna’s Art gallery, or something.

It was pretty nice actually, even if it was probably more lipstick and fur, without the knickers, if you see what I mean.
