After a quick unpack, we head down to the beach to get some
sun – even after all this travelling it was still only about 11.30! We headed
for a bit of beach opposite another resort, the Laguna, and sat ourselves down
to sizzle in the sun…
And sizzle we did! – It’s a beautiful place and the weather
was amazing.

After a few hours, and a few beers, we had the buffet lunch and then headed to the other side of the beach to sit on
some sun loungers in the shade, as we were a little bit hot by this point… this
part of the beach was amazing – the sea was clear, the sky blue, the sand pure white! The coral fish came right up to you as well and I
wish I’d hired dome snorkelling kit so I could see them underwater – maybe
tomorrow.

After a quick freshen up, a glug of wine cooled by buying
ice from the local café, and after some dinner we headed to the other resort (a
bit more upmarket to be honest) and had cocktails on the deck and listened to this Chinese cabaret singer doing (reasonable OK) cover
versions whilst we got sloshed on Long Island Iced Tea.
In the distance, back towards our resort, we could hear a
pounding of a bass, so after the show had finished, we headed back over there
to join the disco – only to find that it closed at midnight (about 10 minutes
away), so we had a final beer and wobbled back to the room to sleep, well more like a drift into a booze and sun induced
coma.
Bliss!
