I put my dirty stuff into the laundry this morning and it turned up all individually wrapped in cellophane: how lovely, if not a bit environmentally unfriendly...
Ha!! – that doesn’t meant anything to anyone out here: everyone has air con on full blast, no-one walks anywhere, everything comes wrapped in plastic, no evidence of any recycling to speak of and a quick search on the internet shows about 10 places to recycle in the whole city! Amazing – clearly not as popular out here as it is in the UK.
