Strawberry Fields Forever

It’s still pouring with rain so unless I want to get completely soaked, I need to buy an umbrella (I am tempted to buy the first one that I see, and then realise that it’s bright red and shaped like a strawberry, so give it a miss) and we head to the night market, dodging a sea of (strawberry) umbrellas, and buying some local food, a scarf (a gift - there is probably never an opportunity to wear such an item here!) and strawberries – both dried and fresh.
It soon becomes apparent that they are completely obsessed with strawberries here in the Highlands. There is strawberry EVERYTHING – not just the usual fresh, dried and jam, but tarts, clothes, pillows, shoes, slippers, inflatable toys, earrings, necklaces, key rings, and umbrellas, of course!

I resist the temptation to buy a load of (strawberry themed) crap.
