I woke up with the lights on and dressed on the bed – tut! That'll teach me to get drunk.
I go straight back to sleep again to a more appropriate time, i.e. 9am, and go for breakfast in this hakkan noodle café nearby. It was
completely packed but we managed to squeeze onto a table with three old ladies
and a young girl. They were really nice and one of them was talking to Edwin,
in Mandarin, about me (I can tell now) and apparently she said that I was very
handsome. I like her.
Breakfast over, we go for a drive round town again – picking
up some salt baked chicken and some duck for lunch – the thought of both gave
me indigestion, as I think last night’s meal is still full in my stomach. We
have tea and I buy a very expensive teapot (which I will use, I’m sure!) and
then head back for lunch before heading home to KL.
