It's the last few days here in Malaysia and I spend the next day or so sorting, tidying, packing and organising myself to go back to the UK. Sadly, it’s all finally coming to an end.
On Thursday, the removal men are here – I can’t believe how much stuff I have got: I am convinced I didn’t buy
that much stuff here, and it looks a lot more than when I arrived. A couple of hours later, I bid farewell to my belongings, wondering if Ill ever see them again in one piece...
On Friday, the landlord is over to take back the apartment: I had been worried about (occasionally) smoking in the apartment, and had cleaned the
place, mopped the floor and ‘Febreezed’ the furniture before he came round.
The first thing he did was ask if he could smoke…
So that's it: my stuff on way to the UK and now nowhere to live... and I am suddenly feeling very sad.
